The tool-free adjustable guard increases productivity and ease during use, however, to keep the tool safe it is twist proof, to ensure there are no accidental damage. It has a Metabo S-automatic mechanical safety clutch, which is designed to minimise kick back. The restart protection function prevents the machine from automatically starting if it has been interrupted in some way, e.g. a power cut. It can be used right or left handed and the auto-stop carbon brushes protect the motor to ensure this tool has the maximum life expectancy possible.
